Welcome Home Welcomes Drives

​Hosting a drive is a wonderful way to build community and to learn more about the mission and the work of Welcome Home.

By holding a drive for Welcome Home, you have the power to make a significant and positive impact on the lives of individuals and families in need.  Drives are critically important to keeping our shelves stocked with the household goods that are in highest demand so we can respond to every request we receive.

Who can hold a drive?

Anyone is welcome to work with us to organize a drive. Individuals, families, scout troops, religious organizations, businesses, clubs, sports teams, schools, and other social and business groups have all donated generously to Welcome Home by hosting a drive.

What items are collected for a drive?

Our most successful drives focus on one specific type of household item in high demand. We will let you know which items we currently need the most. For example: towels, blankets, sheets, pots and pans, or utensils.

When can I hold a drive?

​We need items year-round and will help you will all aspects of the process - from planning to drop off.

Where do I drop off the items?

You will be sent a link to sign up for a time to drop off the items at Welcome Home, 27 Dunstan Street, West Newton, MA.
